This is a reading-only educational website. There are no visitor accounts, forms, analytics, browser fingerprinting, location requests or third-party advertising scripts.

Requests and Diagnostic Logs

OVH hosts the web server. Delivering a page necessarily processes connection information such as your IP address. Scoped server access logs record information such as time, source address, path, response status, user agent and delivery timing to troubleshoot availability and crawler access. Request headers, query strings and bodies are not stored in those access logs. Daily rotation is configured with a seven-day retention window; the active log rotates at midnight. Logs are not a record of browsing outside this site.

DNS and Infrastructure

Cloudflare provides authoritative DNS for the domain. At launch, the web records point directly to OVH: website requests do not pass through Cloudflare as a reverse proxy. Infrastructure providers may process their own security and operational data under their policies. Read Cloudflare privacy information and OVHcloud privacy information.

Cookies, Ads and Outside Links

The application sets no cookies and uses no local-storage tracking. The labeled SnapSub and Penny house promotions use self-hosted images, with no third-party ad request, tracking redirect or affiliate identifier. Clicking an external link sends you to another service, which has its own policies. Our page sends no referrer header.

Email and Your Questions

Emailing support@aboutvpns.info shares your address, message and any attachments with the site operator and mail providers. Correspondence may be retained to answer and follow up on the request; it is not covered by the website-log retention window. Avoid sending secrets or sensitive network details. You may use that address to ask privacy questions or request deletion of correspondence, subject to applicable retention obligations.

If This Changes

We will update this notice before adding analytics, an advertising network or other materially different data collection. We do not sell a VPN service and cannot make privacy promises for third-party VPN operators.
